About Annie

Aneta “Annie” Diaz is the founder of Annie the Event Nanny, the premier childcare service in Northern California; specializing in high-end events and venues.

Born and raised in the Czech Republic, Annie competed for over a decade in cross-country skiing and excelled at all things “active”. This foundation of disciplined resilience shaped her and provided a foundation for a career in healthcare. She completed a four-year nursing program before advancing to achieve a Masters in physical therapy with a specialization in pediatrics. She traded skis for a therapist office where she honed her skills in maternally supporting children's physical development and well-being. She is fluent in English, Czech, Polish, Slovak and the language of childcare.

In 2021, Annie relocated to the United States as a live-in Au pair in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, where she cared for three young children, one of whom needed special care. After four enriching years, she transitioned to Napa in 2025 to launch her next venture, “Annie The Event Nanny”.

Drawing on her clinical background and hands-on childcare experience, she provides professional support for client’s needs during weddings, corporate gatherings, and special occasions-ensuring children are safe, engaged and happy so parents can fully enjoy themselves.
